Cambrian Asset Management Company and its dba, The Cambrian Group, is a small woman-owned company, state-certified as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) based in Austin, Texas with a regional office located in the colonial capitol of North Carolina, New Bern (Craven County). The business principals, along with the asset management and marketing and consulting firm they established in 1989, founded The Cambrian Group specifically to respond to the national maintenance and disposition of Bank REO properties. As consultants and advisors for national firms working to preserve, protect, evaluate, market, and sell large portfolios of commercial and residential properties, our primary objective is to see our clients succeed. Achieving that goal forms the bedrock of our own success and sustains the growth of our business.
Professionally, company principals have been in real estate since the mid 1970's; have earned the prestigious CCIM – Certified Commercial Investment Member advanced designation from the Commercial Investment Institute of the National Association of Realtors®; and were instrumental in the phenomenal success of the companies and partnerships which comprised largest of the former HUD M&M Contractors, with 27 states. Prior to launching the M&M contracts for HUD, Cambrian Asset Management Company was awarded a prime contract and performed a national scope of services during 1991 through 1996 for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). In this capacity CAMCO provided essential services that resulted in a successful program to market and sell over $4 billion dollars worth of commercial real estate owned (REO) properties.
